We never knew what we’d find…one day it was empty crab shells, another day moon shells. One day, after 2 days of deep freeze, we found these giant frozen jellyfish. Another day, after a storm, foam blobs. Another day masses of seaweed or sargassum maybe?A whole day excursion to see Sargent Beach, west along the coast from Surfside. Most amazing bridge structure crossing the intracoastal waterway. Found lots of beach glass on our beach walk.Black Skimmers – not often spotted.So many ospreys willing to pose…Shy Roseate Spoonbills – these stayed long enough for Mike to photograph before taking flight.Loved watching the barges on the intracoastal waterway.Beautiful sunset on the ferry, returning from a bird-watching expedition on the Bolivar Peninsula.
