We started our trip on Wednesday, Sept. 4th. The first step was taking Marley to Ranch Camp where he will stay, very happily, until our return on Nov. 6th. He loves his human and animal friends at the ranch. He probably won’t want to come home!!!

And then….the second step was getting ourselves to the small local airport in Riverton and on the plane to Denver, less than an hour’s flight (6 hours driving time!)

And then….WA DC Dulles Airport to Geneva….

Arrival in Grindelwald….

We figured we travelled 24 hours straight from Denver to our arrival in Grindelwald. Even though we were so lucky to have business class, neither of us was able to sleep much. So we were tired even before getting on the train for four hours.
The train took us all along the north side of Lake Geneva….spectacular!!! Getting close to Grindelwald there were even more spectacular views of the alps getting closer.
Checked into our hotel, went for a short walk, found a grocery store and Pharmacy for some wine and a few other items we needed, had dinner gazing upon the Eiger, and headed home to bed. Eyes rolling around in our heads, it was lights off just after 7pm.
happy to see you there on your next adventures
Happy travels you two. Thanks for sharing your adventures. I am looking forward to seeing and reading more. Take care. Nadia
