Nus to San Vincente, 18 km, sunny and hot.
But first, dinner at the Agriturismo we stayed at. We signed up for dinner at 8, very late for us. But it was so worth it. We started with a table loaded with appetizers, all grown and produced on the property…pate, bread, cheeses, breads, wine….and more I can’t name.

The meal continued with ravioli, polenta with beef ragu, potato soup and ended with sorbet, grappa and coffee. It certainly was a gourmet dining experience!
Next morning, a bit tired, we set off to church bells ringing…it was Sunday.
A few pics leaving…

Quite a variety of pathways we followed today…

Our first rest stop overlooking the Aosta Valley…

Beautiful views…

Ancient deserted, stone house high on the hillside we were traversing…

Nearing our destination…

And finally, joining the Sunday crowd out for dinner in San Vincente.
Today was a long, arduous walk but still so beautiful. Many, many, steep ups and downs on some very overgrown trails and in one place a rather dangerous drop between two boulders. Very happy I keep my eyes on the ground beneath my feet!
Another incredible day and what a feast last night! Loved all the different pathways.
wish you could send some of your heat our way. You have seen it all. Snow, rain, heat.Have another great day!
