25 km, beautiful walking weather, overcast, cool, no rain but a bit muddy with large puddles of water from the rain the day before.

Nearing Pavia…a beautiful, old, covered bridge over the Ticino River…
Walking through Pavia my eye was caught by these delights…
The next day was a rest day in Pavia….laundry, a visit to the Duomo in the center, a wonderful lunch with Swiss friends from long ago who passed by Pavia to see us on their way to the Italian riviera, a drink in the square, an Italian LGBTQ gathering/protest, another last supper with friend Mario who caught up with us here and now, a whole new day of walking begins.
