What do I say about myself and how much detail do i disclose? And what is really true and what is self-delusion? Besides all that – what is really important? Is it being a cancer survivor or a retired teacher or that I was born and raised in Wyoming or that my formative years were spent out in the forests and mountains with my wildlife biologist father or living and working for more than a decade in the Middle East or finding the love of my life whilst there or all the travel experiences or being divorced or having children and grandkids or spending 5 years living Full time in an RV whilst volunteering for various gov’t agencies – Federal: NPS, USFS, USFWS; State Parks: Oregon, Washington & Wyoming.
Maybe it is all important… we are after all the amalgam of our upbringing and experiences. And to summarize all those experiences is impossible. So by the numbers…
I am retired… which means i don’t work, nor do I want to.
I find the joy of living in the constant changes of scenery.
Now, in the beginning of my 8th decade, I feel the desire to experience as much as possible. I’ve checked off so many items that were on my ‘bucket list’ that I am having to add more. Which makes me feel incredibly fortunate.
