Friday, Day 31: San Miniato to Gambassi, 26 km, sun and clouds

It was a most spectacular day. The walking today was what I had expected walking through Italy would be like!!! Here’s a few pics. The countryside is changing!….rolling hills, cypress trees, olive groves, vineyards and small communities dotted around the landscape. Here are some pics…you may need to zoom in…

Saturday, Day 32: Gambassi to San Gimignano, 14km, sunny day.

We met up with Paul and Marilyn from Ottawa and walked with them today. From quiet, peaceful pathways to a big resort town….tourists from all over. Beautiful hotel on the Main Street in the middle of all the activity.

Leaving from our Agriturismo place, wisps of clouds, a great breakfast, and a view from the first kilometer away, long shot and zoomed in.

Reconnected with Paul & Marilyn from Ottawa (they stayed in a different place) and met Heinz from Switzerland.

Stopped at an unexpected bar along the way…
